About Old Marine Arts Group:

We opened Old Marine Arts Group in September 2024. It was quite a journey from preparing the premises, being awarded our Licence to Practice, to opening the studio and introducing ourselves to the diverse, vibrant local community.

Our teamof experienced resident and guest artists is dedicated to creating amazing tattoos. We can create custom-designed tattoos, work with your designs, or you can choose from our flash sheets. We also do cover-ups and can refresh your old tattoos - all in a safe, hygienic environment.

We also offer a tattoo taster course to help artists decide if tattooing is the career for them. Students learn the fundamentals: tattoo safety and hygiene, basic tattoo techniques, and setting up a professional tattoo station. It also includes hands-on practice on synthetic skin in a licensed studio.

The studio exhibits local artists’ curated art collections. The studio’s an ideal spot for art lovers to find original, affordable pieces and support our local community.

In addition to tattoos, Old Marine Arts Group offers a selection of unique, limited-edition clothing under our established T’ART brand. Each item showcases our tattoo artists’ designs, carefully chosen to reflect individuality.

Tom has studied art since his teenage years and side-stepped into a law career before realising that creative artwork was the way to go for him.

Julie worked for many years in clinical microbiology and business management, and is also a writer. She loves managing the studio, meeting clients, and curating the artwork, but admits she has limited artistic skills herself.
